Falda Cloth

110.00

Beautifully hand-embroidered featuring an array of classic, and not so classic, Shipibo symbolism - the pink flowers depict the Bobinsana flower, considered to be a master plant which one can diet. The snakes represent the Ayahuasca vine, the hearts for Love, and the  icaros, or sacred songs, for protection. I love how the center has a Scandanavian feel to the design, but it actually symbolizes Noya Rao, or the Tree of Light, one of the most powerful plant medicines to diet in the Shipibo tradition. Use as a ground or overlay cloth for your altar or sacred space. Also looks lovely as a wall hanging. The black portion is dyed using a special tree bark that is found in the Amazon jungle. Approx size: 4' by 2'
